Born and raised in Rotorua, Tu is known by many as the ultimate people person. He started his tertiary education with Adventure Tourism before finding himself at university studying psychology and working in various management roles based in the Waikato region.
 

Answering the family call to return back to his home town of Rotorua, Tu took on the task of building what would become one of the leading mountain bike facilities in New Zealand; Mountain Bike Rotorua. But ever the people person the guiding world was a natural fit for him.

 

You will now find him anywhere between the family owned group of companies, primarily overseeing the group finances and the accounts team but also fulfilling various roles such as Trip Leader on a range of different types of tours, right through to managing operations for Crankworx Rotorua.
