Tarawera Falls

One of the Bay of Plenty's best kept secrets

Meeting your private guide for the day, we fly over the Volcanic Plateau, including the Blue and Green Lakes, before landing on the majestic Mt. Tarawera. Enjoy expansive views of the craters formed during the 1886 eruption and the 7km long volcanic rift that runs the mountains length.

Hike approximately 2 hours through volcanic landscapes and native bush traversing over underground streams and panoramic vistas to arrive at our destination. We enjoy picnic lunch at beautiful Tarawera Falls.

We continue a short 15minutes to our private transportation and travel by road for approximately 45mins to meet our 53ft luxury catamaran for sailing on Lake Rotoiti with options of hot pool soaking, fishing and cliff jumping.
